On April 24, a friendship game was held between Zhejiang University Basketball Team and Newington College Basketball Team. The match ended with a 77:57 victory of ZJU team over Newington team. Director of Department of Public Physical and Art Education Professor Wu Yehai attended the match. The new cheering squad offered wonderful performances.

 

In the match, No. 9 Wang Houyi and No. 14 Liu Zhenhuan presented outstanding performances, each scoring 28 points. No. 15 of Newington team scored a game-high 36 points.

 

In the 1st Quarter, ZJU team started with successful offense and effective defense and led the game with 25:12. Newington team strengthened its defense and outside attacks in the 2nd Quarter, but still it can’t break the ZJU attack and defense system. In the 3rd Quarter, Newington team increased its shooting rate. With its tough defense and outstanding performance of No. 15, Newington team seized opportunities and gradually narrowed the gap in score. But in the last Quarter, ZJU team changed defense tactics and dominated the game. Finally ZJU team won the friendship game.
